Nevada's suicide statistics tell a heartbreaking story. The Department of Health and Human Services and the Division of Mental Health and Development Services (MHDS) have been instrumental in leading efforts to assist Nevada's Governor and Legislature in helping reduce the occurrence of suicide.

The Department of Health and Human Services, through the Division of MHDS, is pleased to provide you with the enclosed Nevada Suicide Prevention 2007 Resource Directory. This directory is designed to provide an easy to use reference of programs available in Nevada to assist individuals who may need suicide prevention resources.
